Who we are
The Kenya Business Council UAE (“the council”, “we”) is a business council registered with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through this website and in the course of running the council.
What we collect
Membership applications: name, email, phone, company, tier, sector, and anything you include in your message. Event RSVPs: name, email, company, and seats requested. Enquiries: name, email, subject, and message.
We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics on this site.
How we use it
Form submissions are delivered by email to the council secretariat and used solely to process your application, reserve your event seats, or answer your enquiry. Member contact details are used to send council communications — event invitations, briefings, and the newsletter — which you may opt out of at any time.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers who deliver our email (who process it on our instructions) or where required by UAE law.
Retention and your rights
Application and enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to administer membership and the council's records, after which they are deleted. You may ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you by writing to the secretariat at info@kbc-uae.com.
Jurisdiction
This policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai, including UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data where applicable.
